Synopsis

Following Aquaman and Mera's return from Oceanid Aquaman struggles with knowing the status for himself and Mera. While Vulko continues with his plotting against Aquaman as Koryak awakens from a reoccurring nightmare of his being a failure as king of Atlantis motivating him to put a plan into action to take the crown. While Mera awakens from a dream where she questions if she even needs Orin to lead the city,while Tempest awakens from a dream of his being a tyrant.   As all the citizens of the city gather for a ceremony to take the oaths of monarchy,but it's interpreted by Tempest who confesses his desire to be king. Garth then attacks Aquaman and Dolphin Aquaman then realizes the cause is the Trident  which he takes back Aquaman then comments on the length with which Garth held off the corruption as Koryak picks it up to be corrupted instantly and tries to kill his father. Aquaman then banishes Koryak for life for his actions, while afterwards Mera calls for an end to the ceremonies as the two are not married so can not be king and queen.
